About
Narimane Abouelseoud (b. 1994) studied French literature at Cairo University and art criticism and curatorial studies at Saint Joseph University in Beirut. Interested in the intersections of art with the social sciences and linguistics, she has worked over the last decade independently and within cultural institutions in Cairo, Beirut, and Riyadh, with a focus on content development in the art sector. She managed the residency program at Townhouse in 2019 and served as content and programming manager for the second edition of the Intermix Residency in Riyadh in 2024. In 2020, she produced podcast episodes on art education as part of the first edition of the “Mudawanat” program with the Culture Resource. She has curated a number of solo and group exhibitions, including “Roznama 8” at Medrar for Contemporary Art in Cairo in 2021, and the public art intervention “Day 1” in Tripoli, Lebanon, in 2018.
